Available to pre-order now, the Nissan Ariya will start from £41,845 and reaches showrooms in summer 2022.
UK customers can now pre-order Nissan’s all-new Ariya electric crossover.
Buyers can pick from two battery capacities, with four different trim levels available across the range.
Both two-wheel drive and Nissan’s e-4orce four-wheel-drive system will be offered. Opting for the latter means a twin-motor setup and increased performance.
Prices for the Ariya start at £41,845 for the entry-level Advance model with a 63kWh battery. Sold only in 217hp two-wheel-drive form, the Advance can accelerate from 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds and has a range of 223 miles.
Standard specification includes black synthetic leather seats with fabric inserts, a hands-free power tailgate, wireless phone charging and dual 12.3-inch TFT screens.
Moving up to Evolve trim, at £51,090, introduces an 87kWh battery pack. This boosts range to a potential 310 miles in two-wheel-drive guise. Power also increases to 242hp.
Along with the larger battery, Evolve trim delivers a standard 22kW onboard charger, panoramic sunroof, adaptive headlights and a head-up display.
Prices for the twin-motor all-wheel-drive Ariya e-4orce Evolve 87kWh begin at £53,790. Its 306hp output sees the 0-62mph time cut to 5.7 seconds, but range is also reduced to 285 miles.
Topping the range is the Ariya e-4orce Performance 87kWh. More power is extracted from the twin-motor setup, with a grand total of 394hp available. The potential range falls to 248 miles, with 0-62mph in 5.1 seconds.
As the flagship model, the £58,440 Ariya e-4orce Performance features an exclusive Sport Pack. This adds blue Nappa leather seats, along with 20-inch wheels.
With pre-orders now open, Nissan expects to deliver the first completed Ariyas in the summer of 2022.
