Volkswagen ID.3 owners can now choose from a new range of accessories including a clever bicycle holder for up to three bikes
Volkswagen has launched a new range of accessories for the ID.3 electric car to boost the award-winning EV’s practicality and usability.
Available now in Volkswagen dealers, the firm’s accessories and merchandise product manager James Woolfe said the range make the ID.3 “even better and more suited to the individual customer”.
A big-seller is expected to be the range of protection packs, which include floor mates, a load liner and load sill protector. Prices start from £188 fitted.
Flashy door mirror caps are available in either gloss black or carbon look finishes, priced from £181 – and animated door mirror LED turn signals are available for £247.
Perhaps the cleverest feature is the integrated bicycle carrier, which is capable of carrying up to three bikes.
It attaches to the ID.3’s transport hitch (which is included in the fitting) and the firm says it’s simple to operate. Price? £1,470.
Choose the bespoke rack, says Mr Woolfe, “and you’ve got even more boot space free for carrying luggage on a cycling holiday, or other luggage needed for two-wheeled fun.
“The ID.3 is already a car that demands few-to-no compromises, and with this range of accessories, it becomes even more flexible and practical.”
