Skoda Enyaq iV Founders Edition limited to 50 UK examples

Skoda has confirmed that only 50 cars from a production run of 1,895 will be allocated to British customers.

UK buyers will need to move quickly to secure the limited-production Skoda Enyaq iV Founders Edition.

Only 50 cars, from a total global production run of 1,895, are destined for Britain.

The number is a nod to Václav Laurin and Václav Klement, who founded what became the Skoda car company in 1895. Skoda says its move to electrification is the inspiration for this special edition.

Two paint colours are offered for the Founders Edition. Buyers can choose from Arctic Silver or Black Magic.

Those in Arctic Silver will have a black finish for the 21-inch Aquarius alloy wheels and exterior model badging. Black Magic Enyaqs will have copper detailing instead.

All Founders Edition models gain special badges for the front wings, gloss black exterior trim and an LED ‘Crystal Face’ front grille.

An 82kWh battery is standard, and is equipped with 125kW rapid-charging capabilities. This can see the Enyaq iV returned to 80 percent charge in 38 minutes.

Inside, each Founders Edition comes with a unique numbered plaque on the steering wheel. Black leather seats feature Cognac Brown piping, with the dashboard finished in Piano Black trim.

Progressive steering, a drive mode controller, keyless entry and wireless smartphone charging are all included.

Prices for the Enyaq iV Founders Edition will start from £46,275. Skoda has not confirmed when the first deliveries are due.
