In a surprise release, BMW has given us our first official look at the upcoming new i4 EV, ahead of its full launch later in 2021.
Revealed at the BMW Group 2021 Annual Conference, the new i4 is a four-door ‘Gran Coupe’ and is set to go on sale later in 2021 – ahead of schedule.
The accelerated roll-out is part of BMW’s plans to speed up its switch to EVs.
Several versions will be offered, including a version with a WLTP EV driving range of up to 366 miles.
A performance version, likely branded BMW M Performance, will have up to 530hp and accelerate from 0-62mph in around 4.0 seconds.
