Mercedes-Benz announces UK prices for eVito electric van

With a range of up to 162 miles, the latest Mercedes eVito van also benefits from rapid charging capability.

UK prices and specifications for the latest eVito electric van have been confirmed by Mercedes-Benz.

Without VAT, or potential grant contributions from the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), the eVito will cost from £43,600.

The new model offers an increased level of standard equipment, plus greater opportunity for buyers to make their van more luxurious.

All versions of the eVito are front-wheel drive, with the electric motor offering a peak output of 116hp.

A 66kWh lithium-ion battery pack is mounted beneath the load area, but designed not to impinge on carrying capacity. With a total load volume of 6.6 cubic metres, the eVito can carry payloads up to 807kg.

When fully charged, the eVito has an official WLTP-tested range of up to 162 miles.

AC fast charging using an 11kW home wallbox will see the eVito take 6.5 hours to fully recharge. Using a public rapid charging point allows an 80 percent charge in just 35 minutes.

All eVito models are fitted with a 7.0-inch multimedia touchscreen, including a three-year subscription to the ‘Mercedes Me’ online service. This allows drivers to find EV charging points and set navigation routes based upon their availability.

The Progressive trim level comes with air conditioning, a heated driver’s seat, a reversing camera and an audio system with DAB, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

For those wanting extra luxury, Mercedes-Benz has added the Premium line. This includes metallic paint, colour-coded bumpers, 17-inch alloy wheels, a chrome grille and parking sensors.

Customers can place orders for the new eVito now, with first deliveries expected in March 2022.​
