Citroen announces updated prices for 2022 e-C4 electric range

Customer demand has led to Citroen launching more affordable versions of the revised e-C4 Electric.

Revised prices for the new e-C4 electric SUV have been confirmed by Citroen.

Key to the updated model range are two affordable new trim levels, aimed at increasing access to electric vehicle ownership.

Sense and Shine Edition versions of the e-C4 Electric have been introduced, says Citroen, in response to customer demand.

Priced at £28,495 after the government Plug-in Car Grant (PiCG) is deducted, the e-C4 Electric Sense still offers plenty of standard equipment.

All cars come with LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and keyless entry. Safety features such as Lane Keeping Assist and Forward Collision Warning are fitted, too.

A 10-inch multimedia touchscreen controls the infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as standard. Front-seat passengers have their own tablet holder, designed to avoid distracting the driver.

The £30,495 (after PiCG) Shine Edition adds a head-up display, front and rear parking sensors, reversing camera and a heated steering wheel.

Priced from £34,995, the popular Shine Plus model remains the range-topping e-C4 Electric. Wireless smartphone charging, heated front seats and black leather upholstery are included.

All models use a 50kWh battery, offering a potential WLTP range of up to 217 miles. The e-C4 Electric benefitted from a host of updates in 2021, increasing real-world efficiency.

These changes centred upon the use of a more efficient heat pump for interior climate control, along with revisions to the transmission.

New prices for the e-C4 Electric are effective immediately, so orders can be placed now.
