Caffeine & Machine to host ‘Eclectic Electric’ EV weekend

Already a famous destination for car enthusiasts, Caffeine & Machine in Warwickshire will host a dedicated event for EVs.

Electric vehicles will take centre stage at Caffeine & Machine, a country pub and cafe for car enthusiasts, this weekend.

Located near Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, Caffeine & Machine has rapidly become a popular meeting spot for car fans. It has a coffee house, bar and restaurant, plus numerous outdoor tables.

Instead of the usual supercars and modern classics, this Saturday and Sunday (25-26 September) the venue plays host to the latest EVs.

Bringing electric vehicles to a petrolhead’s dream destination may seem a bold move. However, new EVs will be joined by restomod electric classics.

The Polestar 1 and 2 will be on show, along with the new Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo.

A Land Rover Defender and Porsche 964, both ‘reimagined’ by Everrati, will represent the growing market for adding electric power to older cars.

An example of the world-record-setting Volkswagen XL1 hybrid, plus an electric VW Beetle modified by TV star Guy Martin, will complete the electro exhibition.

The weekend has been organised in partnership with Michelin, which will use the ‘Eclectic Electric’ event to show off its range of EV-specific tyres.

These include the performance-orientated Pilot Sport EV, inspired by Michelin’s seven-year involvement in Formula E racing. Free tyre checks will also be provided by Michelin representatives for all attendees, along with tyre advice.

Attendance at Caffeine & Machine will be ticketed, with time slots available throughout the weekend.
